Basswood is known for being light, strong, and resonant, with a soft and even texture that provides great feedback and helps develop proper technique. Tung wood is stronger, lighter, and tougher than balsa and basswood, allowing players to produce more power in every hit. The combination of these two woods is perfect for players who want to dictate the pace of the game by controlling the ball (Basswood) while maintaining the ability to add power (Tung wood) in every shot.
